The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults, or RCIA, is a communal process for formal initiation of new members into the Catholic Church. This process is a return to the formation of the earliest members of the Church in the first and second centuries.
The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops describes the RCIA as a process in which participants “undergo . . . conversion as they study the Gospel, profess faith in Jesus and the Catholic Church, and receive the sacraments . . . The RCIA process follows the ancient practice of the Church and was restored by the Second Vatican Council as the normal way adults prepare for baptism.” (Source)

At Our Lady of the Rosary parish, RCIA is a two-year process for adults (18 and older), beginning in early September, and concluding by mid-June each year. Sessions take place on Sunday from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM (in English) and Tuesday from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM (in Spanish).
If you require any of the Sacraments to gain full initiation into the Catholic Church–Baptism, Confirmation, or Eucharist–or you simply desire a deeper understanding of the faith, you may send an email to: email@example.com.
